Meet Devereaux Schutze

Devereaux Schutze has been a designer of new homes for Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods for over a decade. She has seen dozens of style trends come and go. 

During her time at the Ideal Design Studio, she has helped custom-create over 200 personalized homes. Schutze doesn’t only love helping her homebuyers, she also loves animals and has fostered eight dogs until they found their forever homes. 

Schutze said of all of the Ideal homes she has designed; the Stafford floor plan is her favorite. The Stafford is gorgeous and spacious, featuring three beds, 2.5 baths, a study, a bonus room and an oversized garage. Wow! What else could you want?

Shutze said she enjoys combining patterns, colors and textures to create an emotionally pleasing space. She also loves working with the Ideal design team because everyone shares the same goals. “Every designer is there to help create a unique space for homeowners to live their lives in a space fit for them,” she said.
