Meet Rachel Cathey

Rachel Cathey has been with Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods since 2016. Cathey loves being creative and working with bold designs, textures and colors. She was recently promoted to assistant manager of the Ideal Design Studio because of her eye for style and exceptional customer service.

Cathey appreciates Ideal’s forward thinking and how they are continuously encouraging the design team to use fresh new designs. Plus, the Ideal Design Studio is the largest in the state of Oklahoma, offering endless selections. “We are able to provide an array of exquisite selections for buyers to personalize homes, as well as for us to design pre-built homes,” Cathey said. “This ensures no two homes are the same, which is strongly reflected in our finished homes and neighborhoods.”

Cathey has worked with over 150 Ideal homebuyers. “I love having the opportunity to work one-on-one with homebuyers, guiding them through the design process from start to finish, then seeing their vision come to life at the end,” Rachel said. “It’s always exciting to receive pictures and updates along the way.” 

Showing off unique style isn’t just part of Cathey’s daily job designing beautiful homes. She has a vinyl record collection with over 300 albums and counting. She enjoys all genres of music and listens to the records on rotation. She is also a talented musician and has played the drums since childhood.
