It's Moving Season!

The largest wave of relocation happens just as summer comes to town. There are many reasons why the housing market heats up along with the temperatures. moving in the oklahoma city metroWhether you are purchasing a new home in the Oklahoma City Metro or moving across the country, odds are you time it to coincide with summer. The Reason: It’s easy to relocate the kids when school is out – whether you are changing school districts or just moving a few streets over, there is more time to get things done. Most military orders change at the same time, for the same reasons. If you are scheduled for a move around now, perhaps into a brand new home in the Oklahoma City Metro built by Ideal Homes…or anywhere else for that matter… we hope you saw our three-part series on prepping for your move. Some other things to know about moving season: If you are looking at renting your home so you can move into a brand new home, this is the time to get it listed. Besides just having a qualified agent get it listed for you so that you can have a professional show your home, consider posting it on a couple of other sites as well. Free options include Zillow, Trulia, HotPads, and Oodle. Some sites charge a fee but are definitely worth the time depending on the area where your home is listed. Military By Owner is highly effective if you are in a big military move area. Other sites that may be helpful that charge a fee are rentals.com and Lovely.
