Oklahoma City Fun for the Entire Family

School is almost out, the weather is heating up and it's time for a little family fun near your new home in Oklahoma City. Not only are there a variety of things to do, most ideas are budget friendly and are great environments for fun and learning. Oklahoma City Zoo - If you haven't been to the Oklahoma City Zoo in a while, this may be your opportunity to get back into the swing of things. One of the oldest zoos in the Southwest with more than 119 acres of plants and animals, the Zoological Park and Botanical Gardens is a perfect family fun day. There is also an indoor educational center housing a variety of species and a nature education library. Admission is free. Science Museum Oklahoma - Right next to the Oklahoma City Zoo, is one of Oklahoma City's premier educational attractions. Formerly the Omniplex, current exhibits include the Kirkpatrick Planetarium, the Oklahoma Air and Space Museum, the Kirkpatrick Gardens and Greenhouse and The Dome Theater among other great attractions. With lots of educational fun for as little as $6.95 per child or $8.95 per adult, you can begin to explore the wonders of the science museum starting with the Dome Theater. A 1 year unlimited pass starts as low as $75 for 2 people. Tiger Safari Inc. - Located just outside the metro in Tuttle, this interactive Zoological Park offers guided tours, allowing you to get up close and personal with the over 160 animals spread across 45 acres. They offer birthday parties, school field trips, safari tours, troop and family camping, jungle safari tree house camping and so much more. Admission starts from $6 per child and $8 per adult.   Celebration Station  - This outdoor wonderland of rides and activities for kids is endless with batting cages, bumper boats, go-karts, and mini golf as well as a video arcade with over 100 games. You can host kids parties, and buy group packages to include a variety of different activities, attractions and food options. Cactus Jack's Family Fun Center - Around since 1976, Cactus Jack's has over 200 games for kids and adults of all ages from foosball, pinball, and skeeball, to just about any video game that you can imagine. This indoor attraction is great for a rainy day, and they have party options as well. Frontier City - Frontier City is Oklahoma's largest theme park with over 40 acres of rides, concerts and attractions for the whole family.
