Where to See Christmas Lights in Oklahoma?
Nothing says "holidays" quite like piling everyone into the car, cranking up the Christmas music, and heading out to see Christmas lights. If you’re new to Oklahoma or looking to start some new traditions right here at home, the OKC metro and Stillwater offer holiday light displays that range from festively decorated neighborhoods to full-scale community events.

To make it easier, we’ve grouped our favorite spots by region, so you can plan an evening close to your Ideal Home. Any attraction that requires an admission fee is marked with a ($) symbol.
North & Northwest OKC
Ideal new home neighborhoods in Guthrie, Edmond, Piedmont, Yukon, and Mustang
- Edmond Electric’s Luminance: A holiday walk-through light display in Mitch Park, presented by Edmond Parks and Recreation.
- A Very Merry Guthrie Christmas: A drive-through lights display that features lights and displays. On the third Saturday of December, the celebration also includes fireworks show.
- Yukon Christmas in the Park: Journey through this walk-through winter wonderland. Santa makes appearances on Friday and Saturday evenings.
East OKC
Ideal new home neighborhoods in Harrah, Choctaw, and east Moore
- Midwest City Holiday Lights Spectacular: A large walk-through Christmas light display at Joe B. Barnes Regional Park with themed areas, music, and family-friendly photo spots.
- Choctaw Christmas in the Park: A local favorite at the Tvshka Homma capitol grounds featuring decorated trees, lights, and seasonal community events throughout December.
South OKC
Ideal new home neighborhoods in Moore, Norman, Washington, and Blanchard
- Christmas Light Show at The Station in Moore: Enjoy a 20-minute light show synchronized to music from the comfort of your car!
- Down’s Family Christmas: This family Christmas synchronized lights show is a local favorite. Park your car on the pasture and watch a local favorite. Every year, it accepts donations for the Oklahoma City Food Bank.
- The University of Oklahoma: New this year is a nightly light show on the South Oval featuring a laser light display.
Downtown OKC & Nearby Holiday Attractions
Ready to head into the city? Oklahoma City features special holiday lights attractions worth driving to.
- Bricktown Canal Lights: The canal and surrounding entertainment district are lit up this holiday season.
- OKC Zoo Safari Lights ($): Drive or walk through the Oklahoma City Zoo to see wildlife-themed light sculptures, holiday cheer, and interactive displays.
- Sparkle at Scissortail Park ($): This new Holiday Walk invites guests to explore holiday lights, sparkling scenes, and imaginative displays. On selected nights there are even Holiday Markets.
- Classic Christmas at Remington Park ($): Coca-Cola’s Classic Christmas features light displays, a market square, ice skating, and live entertainment.
Stillwater
- Theta Pond at Oklahoma State University transforms each Christmas season into a magical wonderland of brightly lit trees and festive gardens.
- Lights on the Lake ($): Drive through a display of lights along Lake McMurtry.
