Spring Is Here! Really! Make it Spring in Your New Home

It probably doesn't feel like it in most parts of the country with the weird weather ups and down's we've experienced this year, but spring is on it's way, even here in the Oklahoma City Metro! If you don't feel like it is yet due to some lingering cold snaps, you can help it along with some spring thoughts, colors and decorations. According to the Pantone Spring Color Report, pastels are being paired with vivid brights and after a long winter, we can totally understand why. While these are color pallets for the fashion industry, there's no reason not to utilize it to "dress up" your new home. There are temporary color additions you can make with tablecloths, real or artificial flowers in vases, pillows with patterns and designs, throws and rugs. Or you can take that leap of faith and pick a bold bright color as an accent wall, a fun piece of furniture like an accent chair, or even a new tile pattern in your home. It's no surprise that color affects mood. With this in mind you can enhance your living space by pulling colors and feelings together and creating your own personal space.
