Specifically, Downtown in December 2015 presented by Devon. Oklahoma City is chalked full of attractions and activities all year long, but there is a certain sparkle that happens during the holiday season. Downtown in December is a series of holiday events which include ice skating, tree lighting, Santa visits, snow tubing, and more. Free Holiday Water Taxi Rides – On designated evenings until December 24th, hop aboard the Bricktown Water Taxi for an adventure cruise along the Bricktown canal and take in all the holiday decorations. Bricktown Canal Lights – If you aren’t in the mood to be on the water, you can still stroll the canal and take in the light displays for free. See how the downtown entertainment district is transformed into a winter holiday wonderland. Saturdays with Santa – This Saturday the 19th is the last Santa visit at the “Winter Wonderland” at the Devon Energy Center. Get the kids out for some crafts, holiday activities, and fun with Santa. Winter Shoppes at Myriad Gardens – Still have some holiday shopping to do for that special someone? Take a stroll through Myriad Gardens and check out the unique offerings of 20 vendors. Ride the full-sized carousel for just $1 a ride, or take a spin around the ice rink. The last chance to take advantage of this myriad of fun is from 11am-6pm December 17-20th located at the North Plaza by the Great Lawn. Snow Tubing Winter Festival – This brand new activity at Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark is open through the 3rd of January. Who couldn’t love a gigantic snow tubing slope?
