Choctaw Nicoma Park Ideal Students Go Back to School!

Can you believe it? Summer is almost over…. and it’s almost time for these Yellowjackets to go back to school.

Everything from school supplies, picking out new clothes, and getting back into that classic routine. For your convenience, we’ve gathered a few facts about the schools in our Ideal Homes & Neighborhoods communities including start times, enrollment, and back to school events.

Covid-19 protocols: Schools will be opening up to a full schedule for the upcoming fall semester. As of right now, masks are recommended for all students and staff but not required. That situation may change if infection rates climb, depending on CDC guidelines. Schools will maintain all safety protocols, including contact tracing, social distancing to the extent possible, and enhanced sanitization and cleaning.

• Elementary and Intermediate

PreK: 8:35 to 11:10 a.m. or 12:45 to 3:10 p.m.

Grades K-5: 8:35 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

• Middle School

Grades 6-8: 7:45 a.m. to 2:40 p.m.

• High School

Grades 9-12: 7:50 a.m. to 2:47 p.m.

New student enrollment is available on-line. Click here for new student enrollment. In-person enrollment for returning students will be held all day Thursday, August 12.
