Two New Schools for 2018-19: a new elementary at 44th and Czech Hall and a new intermediate school for fifth and sixth graders at 15th Street and Czech Hall Road. These new sites mean the boundaries of the existing elementary and intermediate schools will change. Middle school boundaries will remain the same for the 2018-19 school year. How will boundary changes affect my family? The district plans a forum in late January or early February, so parents can meet the steering committee, ask questions and raise concerns. In the meantime, check out Boundary Realignment for more information, to see the proposed boundaries and share your comments and suggestions. When a date and time for the forum has been announced, it will be emailed to parents, put on the district website and announced on the district Facebook page.” The board will have an opportunity to vote on the new boundaries at the February meeting. Students moving to a new site will have a chance to visit their new school in the spring and meet the principals.
